This quaint little bistro in the historic section of Aviles, Spain is one of my favorites. Everything from the exquisite interior, including gold accents with dark green velvet furnishings to the edible flowers sprinkled across the bar, makes this a unique experience.Their take on the Spanish tradition of free tapas with your drink will please any traveler. Our wine was accompanied by an offering unlike any other. The owner’s attempt to create a potato dish that is both beautiful and delicious has succeeded in a lovely manner. I thought the accents on the dish were saffron threads and marveled at how such an expensive spice could be used so generously. I was informed it was actually thin strips of dried red chili peppers. Brilliant! And did I mention the playlist? John Lee Hooker, Sam and Dave, Wilson! My music !!!
Este pequeño y pintoresco bistró en la sección histórica de Avilés, España, es uno de mis favoritos. Todo, desde el exquisito interior, incluidos los acentos dorados con muebles de terciopelo verde oscuro hasta las flores comestibles espolvoreadas por el bar, hace que esta sea una experiencia única. Su versión de la tradición española de las tapas gratis con su bebida complacerá a cualquier viajero. Nuestro vino iba acompañado de una ofrenda diferente a cualquier otra. El intento del propietario de crear un plato de patatas que sea hermoso y delicioso ha tenido éxito de una manera encantadora. Pensé que los acentos en el plato eran hilos de azafrán y me maravillé de cómo una especia tan cara se podía usar tan generosamente.
